My book is soon-to-be published and therefore I have not been reviewed on any websites, magazines, or newspapers. I have begun to think about (and prepare) for when my book is reviewed. Not everyone is going to like it. Some of those people may be book reviewers.

This is a great post on what to do about a negative review: what to do

  1. I have this notion that I will never, ever read a review of my work, but in reality I'm not that disciplined. Thanks for the post -- it's nice to know that other writers are in knots over this stuff, too.

    1. I might have someone prescreen reviews before I read them. At least that's what I tell myself. I've read some reviews that make me cringe and want to email the author and say, "hey, despite what so-and-so wrote, I liked your book!"
